Azadeh Moaveni è una scrittrice e giornalista statunitense, di origine iraniana. È autrice di Lipstick jihad (Pisani 2006). In Italia ha pubblicato Viaggio di nozze a Teheran (Newton Compton 2009) e Il mio Iran (Sperling&Kupfer 2006) scritto con il premio nobel per la pace Shirin Ebadi. È stata corrispondente dal Medio Oriente per Time e il Los Angeles Times. Vive in Gran Bretagna e collabora con Time, il Washington Post, il New York Times Book Review e il Guardian.

Azadeh Moaveni is an American journalist, with Iranians origins. She is the author of Lipstick jihad, Honeymoon in Tehran, and co-author, with Nobel peace prize winner Shirin Ebadi, of Iran awakening. She has reported throughout the Middle East since 1999 as a correspondent for Time magazine and the Los Angeles Times. She is currently based in the United Kingdom and contributes widely to Time, the Washington Post, the New York Times Book Review and The Guardian.
