Thierry Vissol è un funzionario della Commissione europea, nato in Francia nel 1951. Attualmente è consigliere speciale nell’ambito dei media e della comunicazione presso la Rappresentanza in Italia della Commissione europea. Dottore in macroeconomia monetaria, ha insegnato macroeconomia e filosofia sociale in varie università in Francia, Belgio e Stati Uniti fino al 2003. Ha pubblicato numerosi libri e saggi di analisi macroeconomica, storia della moneta e storia della povertà.
Thierry Vissol is a European Commission official, born in France in 1951. Currently he is working as a Special Consultant for the Media and Communication Department of the EU delegation to Italy. He has published numerous essays on macroeconomics, currency and the history of poverty. He was on the front-line of preparations for the changeover to the euro from 1995 to 2002.
