Philippe Sands

È un avvocato e docente universitario franco-britannico. Insegna diritto allo University College London. Specialista di diritto internazionale, ha lavorato come consulente davanti a numerose corti e tribunali internazionali, tra cui la Corte internazionale di giustizia, la Corte europea dei diritti dell’uomo e la Corte penale internazionale. Collabora con il Financial Times, il Guardian, la New York Review of Books e Vanity Fair. Il suo ultimo libro è 38 Londres Street o sull’impunità (Guanda 2026).
 
Philippe Sands is a British-French lawyer and university professor. He teaches law at University College London. A specialist in international law, he has appeared as counsel and advocate before numerous international courts and tribunals, including the International court of justice, the European court of human rights and the International criminal court. He is a frequent contributor to the Financial Times, the Guardian, the New York Review of Books and Vanity Fair. His latest book is 38 Londres Street: On Impunity (Weidenfeld & Nicolson 2025).
