May 25 (Reuters) - Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Monday the U.S. will either have a good agreement with Iran or deal with the country “another way.”

The U.S. will give diplomacy every chance to succeed before exploring the “alternatives,” Rubio told reporters in New Delhi.

There is a “pretty solid thing on the table in terms of their ability to open up the strait, get the strait open, enter into a very real, significant, time-limited negotiation on the nuclear matter, and hopefully we can pull it off,” Rubio said.

25 maggio (Reuters) - Il Segretario di Stato Marco Rubio ha detto lunedì che gli Stati Uniti avranno un buon accordo con l’Iran o tratteranno con il Paese “in un altro modo”.

Gli Stati Uniti daranno alla diplomazia tutte le possibilità di successo prima di esplorare le “alternative”, ha detto Rubio ai reporter a New Delhi.

C’è una “cosa piuttosto solida sul tavolo in termini di capacità di aprire lo stretto, di far aprire lo stretto, di avviare un negoziato molto reale, significativo e limitato nel tempo sulla questione nucleare, e speriamo di poterlo fare”, ha detto Rubio.
