ANKARA, June 15 (Reuters) - Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi in a call on Monday that Turkey hoped further talks with the U.S. would yield positive outcomes after an Iran-U.S. deal to halt the war, a Turkish diplomatic source said.

Fidan also warned against “provocations” that could derail the agreement and vowed that Turkey would continue supporting efforts for regional peace, the source said. Araqchi thanked Turkey for its efforts in the negotiation process, the source added.

ANKARA, 15 giugno (Reuters) - Il ministro degli esteri Hakan Fidan ha detto lunedì al suo omologo iraniano Abbas Araqchi durante una telefonata che la Turchia spera che ulteriori colloqui con gli Stati Uniti producano risultati positivi dopo un accordo tra Iran e Stati Uniti per fermare la guerra, ha riferito una fonte diplomatica turca.

Fidan ha inoltre lanciato avvertimenti contro “provocazioni” che potrebbero far deragliare l’accordo e ha promesso che la Turchia continuerà a sostenere gli sforzi per la pace nella regione, ha aggiunto la fonte.
