SYDNEY, Aug 11 (Reuters) - Australia and Vietnam said on Tuesday they had agreed to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.

Both countries expressed concern over restrictive trade practices that disrupt global supply chains, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said in a joint statement with Vietnamese President To Lam, who is on an official visit to Australia.

They agreed to work together to support supply chains in areas including critical minerals, semiconductors and clean energy, the statement added.
