Zelenskiy says Ukraine expects meeting with US negotiators in coming days

Sept 3 (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Thursday that U.S. negotiators trying to broker a possible solution to the 4 1/2 year-old war with Russia were due to visit both Ukraine and Russia soon.

“There are preliminary dates. We expect to see representatives of the U.S. president here in Kyiv,” Zelenskiy said in his nightly video address.

“There will be a meeting with them in Moscow and in Kyiv. We are expecting a meeting with them in the coming days. It is very important.”

3 settembre (Reuters) - Il presidente ucraino Volodymyr Zelenskiy ha dichiarato giovedì che i negoziatori statunitensi, impegnati a mediare una possibile soluzione alla guerra con la Russia che dura ormai da quattro anni e mezzo, dovrebbero recarsi a breve sia in Ucraina che in Russia.

“Ci sono delle date preliminari. Ci aspettiamo di incontrare i rappresentanti del presidente degli Stati Uniti qui a Kiev”, ha detto Zelenskiy nel suo discorso video serale.

“Ci sarà un incontro con loro a Mosca e a Kiev. Ci aspettiamo di incontrarli nei prossimi giorni. È molto importante.”
