BERLIN, Oct 12 (Reuters) - German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil has canceled the India leg of his Asia trip this week, his ministry said on Monday, citing “current developments” in an emailed statement.

Earlier on Monday, Baerbel Bas, Germany’s labour minister and co-leader of the centre-left SPD party together with Klingbeil, said that she would step down from both roles following the death of her stepdaughter.
