May 26 (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Tuesday that the Strait of Hormuz has to be open, “one way or the other”, when referring to U.S strikes on Iran on Monday.

“The straits have to be open, they’re going to be open one way or the other, so they need to be open,” Rubio told reporters on his plane in India’s Jaipur.

He said the negotiating language of the deal with Iran could “take a few days”.

26 maggio (Reuters) - Il Segretario di Stato americano Marco Rubio ha detto martedì che lo Stretto di Hormuz deve essere aperto, “in un modo o nell’altro”, riferendosi agli attacchi statunitensi all’Iran di lunedì.

“Gli stretti devono essere aperti, saranno aperti in un modo o nell’altro, quindi devono essere aperti”, ha detto Rubio ai giornalisti sul suo aereo a Jaipur, in India.

Ha detto che il linguaggio negoziale dell’accordo con l’Iran potrebbe “richiedere alcuni giorni”.
