BRUSSELS, June 15 (Reuters) - The European Union approved on Monday a series of new restrictive measures against individuals and entities that support the Russian war effort.

The EU added a total of 34 individuals and 47 entities related to Russia’s military and industrial complex, the shadow fleet of oil and gas tankers as well as others that are related to Russia’s political interference activities, the EU council said on Monday.

The new restrictions were approved, while a 21st package of wider sanctions is being discussed by EU member states’ ministers, EU’s chief diplomat Kaja Kallas said in a statement.

BRUXELLES, 15 giugno (Reuters) - L’Unione europea ha approvato lunedì una serie di nuove misure restrittive nei confronti di persone fisiche e giuridiche che sostengono lo sforzo bellico russo.

L’Unione europea ha aggiunto un totale di 34 persone fisiche e 47 entità legate al complesso militare e industriale russo, alla flotta fantasma di petroliere e gasiere, nonché ad altre entità coinvolte nelle attività di interferenza politica della Russia, ha dichiarato lunedì il Consiglio dell’Unione europea.

Le nuove restrizioni sono state approvate, mentre un ventunesimo pacchetto di sanzioni più ampie è in fase di discussione tra i ministri degli Stati membri dell’Unione europea, ha dichiarato in un comunicato il capo della diplomazia dell’Unione europea Kaja Kallas.
