July 8 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump has notified Congress of his decision to rescind Syria’s designation as a State Sponsor of Terrorism, a senior U.S. administration official said on Wednesday.

The move requires Congress to conduct a 45-day review to make the decision final.

8 luglio (Reuters) - Il presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump ha notificato al Congresso la sua decisione di revocare la designazione della Siria come “Stato sponsor del terrorismo”, ha dichiarato mercoledì un alto funzionario dell’amministrazione statunitense.

La mossa richiede che il Congresso conduca una revisione di 45 giorni affinché la decisione diventi definitiva.
