MOSCOW, April 22 (Reuters) - Pavel Durov, the founder of the Telegram messenger app, said on Wednesday he had received a summons in Russia at an old address naming him as a “suspect” in a criminal case.

Russia stepped up its bid to subjugate Telegram in February, announcing in a state-run newspaper it was investigating billionaire founder Durov as part of a criminal case involving accusations of terrorism.

MOSCA, 22 aprile (Reuters) - Pavel Durov, il fondatore dell’app di messaggistica Telegram, ha detto mercoledì di aver ricevuto in Russia una convocazione a un vecchio indirizzo che lo indica come “sospetto” in un caso penale.

La Russia ha intensificato il suo tentativo di sottomettere Telegram a febbraio, annunciando in un giornale statale che stava indagando sul fondatore miliardario Durov nell’ambito di un caso penale con accuse di terrorismo.
