Luxury tour agency &Beyond confirms helicopter carrying its guests crashed in Kenya

JOHANNESBURG, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Luxury tour agency &Beyond told Reuters on Wednesday that a helicopter carrying its guests had crashed in Kenya’s Samburu County.

The company did not give the number of guests on board and said the crash was under investigation by local authorities.

The helicopter was heading to the Ewaso Nyiro river that flows through the Samburu National Reserve, a Kenya Civil Aviation Authority spokesperson said earlier.

JOHANNESBURG, 19 agosto (Reuters) - L’agenzia di viaggi di lusso &Beyond ha riferito mercoledì a Reuters che un elicottero a bordo del quale viaggiavano alcuni suoi ospiti è precipitato nella contea di Samburu, in Kenya.

La società non ha specificato il numero di ospiti a bordo e ha dichiarato che l’incidente è oggetto di indagini da parte delle autorità locali.

L’elicottero era diretto verso il fiume Ewaso Nyiro, che attraversa la Riserva Nazionale di Samburu, come aveva riferito in precedenza un portavoce dell’Autorità per l’Aviazione Civile del Kenya.
