KYIV, Aug 23 (Reuters) - Ukraine played no role in blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines and is cooperating with an investigation into the matter, President Volodymyr Zelenksiy said on Sunday.

“Ukraine has never officially taken part in any operations regarding the blowing up of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline,” he told reporters in Kyiv.

The Nord Stream 1 and 2 natural gas pipelines between Russia and Germany were damaged in explosions in September 2022, and two Ukrainian suspects are currently in custody on suspicion of involvement.

Kiev, 23 agosto (Reuters) - L’Ucraina non ha avuto alcun ruolo nell’esplosione dei gasdotti Nord Stream e sta collaborando alle indagini sul caso, ha affermato domenica il presidente Volodymyr Zelenksiy.

“L’Ucraina non ha mai preso parte ufficialmente ad alcuna operazione relativa all’esplosione del gasdotto Nord Stream 2”, ha dichiarato ai giornalisti a Kiev.

I gasdotti Nord Stream 1 e 2 tra la Russia e la Germania sono stati danneggiati da esplosioni nel settembre 2022 e due sospetti ucraini sono attualmente in custodia cautelare perché indagati per il loro coinvolgimento.
