KYIV, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Thursday there would be no trilateral meeting on how to end the war before the elections in Russia.

Zelenskiy said Ukrainian and U.S. negotiators were in constant contact and he hoped for progress in talks on energy and grain at the end of September after his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Russia will hold parliamentary elections on September 20.

Kiev, 10 settembre (Reuters) - Il presidente ucraino Volodymyr Zelenskiy ha dichiarato giovedì che non ci sarà alcun incontro trilaterale su come porre fine alla guerra prima delle elezioni in Russia.

Zelenskiy ha affermato che i negoziatori ucraini e statunitensi sono in costante contatto e che spera in progressi nei colloqui sull’energia e sul grano alla fine di settembre, dopo il suo incontro con il presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump.

La Russia terrà le elezioni parlamentari il 20 settembre.
