PARIS, Oct 23 (Reuters) - French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez said on Friday that 70,000 security forces would be mobilised throughout the country to keep order on Saturday, adding there have been calls for looting and violence from the ultra-left.

“Look at social media: There have been calls from the far-left to target public buildings. We are not talking about a nice protest,” Nunez told reporters. “We are ready tomorrow to be extremely firm and not tolerate anything.”

PARIGI, 23 ottobre (Reuters) - Il ministro dell’Interno francese Laurent Nunez ha dichiarato venerdì che sabato saranno mobilitate 70.000 forze di sicurezza in tutto il paese per mantenere l’ordine, aggiungendo che dall’estrema sinistra sono giunti appelli a saccheggi e violenze.

«Guardate i social media: ci sono stati appelli da parte dell’estrema sinistra a prendere di mira gli edifici pubblici. Non stiamo parlando di una semplice manifestazione di protesta”, ha detto Nunez ai giornalisti. “Domani saremo pronti a essere estremamente fermi e a non tollerare nulla.”
