Hungary’s election winner Magyar says he does not back Ukraine’s fast-track EU entry

BUDAPEST, April 13 (Reuters) - Hungary’s opposition leader Peter Magyar, whose party won elections on Sunday with a landslide, said on Monday that his government would not support Ukraine’s fast-track entry to the European Union.

Magyar told a briefing that the issue of Ukraine’s membership would have to go to a referendum.

BUDAPEST, 13 aprile (Reuters) - Il leader dell’opposizione ungherese Peter Magyar, il cui partito ha vinto le elezioni domenica con una valanga di voti, ha detto lunedì che il suo governo non sosterrà l’ingresso rapido dell’Ucraina nell’Unione europea.

Magyar ha detto in un briefing che la questione dell’adesione dell’Ucraina dovrà essere sottoposta a referendum.
