ISLAMABAD, April 11 (Reuters) - A U.S. government plane carrying top U.S. officials landed in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on Saturday for peace talks with Iran, two Pakistani sources told Reuters.

Washington and Tehran are due to begin negotiations seeking to end the six-week-old Iran war that has killed thousands of people across the Middle East, disrupted energy supplies, fed inflation and slowed the global economy.

ISLAMABAD, 11 aprile (Reuters) - Un aereo del governo americano con a bordo alti funzionari statunitensi è atterrato sabato nella capitale pakistana Islamabad per colloqui di pace con l’Iran, hanno detto due fonti pakistane alla Reuters.

Washington e Teheran dovrebbero iniziare i negoziati per porre fine alla guerra con l’Iran, che dura da sei settimane e che ha ucciso migliaia di persone in tutto il Medio Oriente, interrotto le forniture di energia, alimentato l’inflazione e rallentato l’economia globale.
