Former vice chair of China’s securities regulator prosecuted for bribery

BEIJING, March 31 (Reuters) - China has prosecuted the former vice chair of its securities regulator on charges of bribery, state news agency Xinhua said on Tuesday.

After investigations, Wang Jianjun was found to have abused the advantages of his authority to “secure benefits”, Xinhua said.

BEIJING, 31 marzo (Reuters) - La Cina ha perseguito l’ex vicepresidente del suo ente di regolamentazione dei titoli con l’accusa di corruzione, ha dichiarato martedì l’agenzia di stampa statale Xinhua.

Dopo le indagini, è stato accertato che Wang Jianjun ha abusato dei vantaggi della sua autorità per “assicurarsi dei benefici”, ha detto Xinhua.
