WASHINGTON, Feb 24 (Reuters) - The Trump administration wants stable relations with China but does not trust the country, a senior State Department official said at a congressional hearing on Tuesday.

Jacob Helberg, Under Secretary of State for Economic Affairs, made his remarks ahead of a visit by U.S. President Donald Trump to China in the coming weeks where he will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

WASHINGTON, 24 febbraio (Reuters) - L’amministrazione Trump vuole relazioni stabili con la Cina ma non si fida del Paese, ha detto un alto funzionario del Dipartimento di Stato in un’audizione congressuale martedì.
