KABUL/ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (Reuters) - The Afghan Taliban “successfully conducted” air strikes using drones to hit military targets in Pakistan, its defence ministry and a government spokesperson said on Friday, as fighting between the neighbours continued.

Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said Pakistani Taliban militants had tried to use drones against targets in Pakistan but they were brought down by anti-drone systems and there was “no damage to life”.

KABUL/ISLAMABAD, 27 febbraio (Reuters) - I talebani afghani hanno “condotto con successo” attacchi aerei con droni per colpire obiettivi militari in Pakistan, hanno detto venerdì il ministero della Difesa e un portavoce del governo, mentre continuano i combattimenti tra i vicini.

Il ministro dell’Informazione pakistano Attaullah Tarar ha dichiarato che i militanti talebani pakistani hanno tentato di usare i droni contro obiettivi in Pakistan, ma sono stati abbattuti dai sistemi anti-drone e non ci sono stati “danni alla vita”.
