MOSCOW, March 16 (Reuters) - Russia has taken control of 12 settlements in Ukraine in the first two weeks of March, Russian state-run news agencies cited Russia’s top general, Valery Gerasimov, as saying on Monday during a visit to the southern grouping of forces.

Gerasimov, the chief of Russia’s General Staff, said Russian forces were on the offensive across all fronts of what Moscow calls its special military operation in Ukraine.

MOSCA, 16 marzo (Reuters) - La Russia ha preso il controllo di 12 insediamenti in Ucraina nelle prime due settimane di marzo, ha dichiarato lunedì l’alto generale russo Valery Gerasimov, citato dalle agenzie di stampa statali, durante una visita al raggruppamento di forze del sud.

Gerasimov, capo dello Stato Maggiore russo, ha detto che le forze russe sono all’offensiva su tutti i fronti di quella che Mosca chiama la sua operazione militare speciale in Ucraina.
