WASHINGTON, April 1 (Reuters) - Iran’s new leader has just asked the United States for a ceasefire, U.S. President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post on Wednesday.

“We will consider when Hormuz Strait is open, free, and clear. Until then, we are blasting Iran into oblivion,” he said.

WASHINGTON, 1 aprile (Reuters) - Il nuovo leader dell’Iran ha appena chiesto agli Stati Uniti un cessate il fuoco, ha detto il presidente degli Stati Uniti Donald Trump in un post sul social network Truth mercoledì.

“Prenderemo in considerazione quando lo stretto di Hormuz sarà aperto, libero e sgombro. Fino ad allora, stiamo facendo esplodere l’Iran nell’oblio”, ha detto.
