DUBAI, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Deaths from two weeks of protests in Iran have risen to more than 500, U.S.-based rights group HRANA said on Sunday.

Its latest spreadsheet - based on activists inside and outside Iran - showed 490 protesters and 48 security personnel killed, plus 10,000 arrests.

Reuters could not independently confirm the figures and Iranian authorities have not given tolls from the unrest it blames on “rioters” being encouraged by foreign powers.

DUBAI, 11 gennaio (Reuters) - I morti di due settimane di proteste in Iran sono saliti a più di 500, ha detto domenica il gruppo per i diritti con sede negli Stati Uniti HRANA.

Il suo ultimo foglio di calcolo - basato su attivisti all’interno e all’esterno dell’Iran - mostra 490 manifestanti e 48 membri della sicurezza uccisi, oltre a 10.000 arresti.

Reuters non ha potuto confermare in modo indipendente le cifre e le autorità iraniane non hanno fornito un bilancio dei disordini che accusano i “rivoltosi” di essere stati incoraggiati da potenze straniere.
