DAVOS, Switzerland, Jan 20 (Reuters) - Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Tuesday Canada strongly opposed any U.S. tariffs over Trump’s aim to take over Greenland.

“Canada strongly opposes tariffs over Greenland and calls for focused talks to achieve our shared objectives of security and prosperity in the Arctic,” Carney said during an appearance at the World Economic Forum.

DAVOS, Svizzera, 20 gennaio (Reuters) - Il primo ministro Mark Carney ha detto martedì che il Canada si oppone fermamente a qualsiasi tariffa statunitense per l’obiettivo di Trump di conquistare la Groenlandia.

“Il Canada si oppone fermamente ai dazi sulla Groenlandia e chiede colloqui mirati per raggiungere i nostri obiettivi condivisi di sicurezza e prosperità nell’Artico”, ha detto Carney durante un’apparizione al World Economic Forum.
