VIENNA, Feb 20 (Reuters) - The suspension of flights at Vienna Airport on Friday due to heavy snowfall has been extended by three hours until midday (1100 GMT) and delays are expected to continue well beyond then, the company said in a statement.
“As things currently stand, individual take-offs should be possible as of midday, and landings as of 1 p.m.,” it said, adding that of around 232 flights scheduled into and out of Vienna on Friday until midday, 150 had been cancelled so far.
