April 9 (Reuters) - Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Thursday that Israeli strikes on Lebanon violate the ceasefire agreement and would render negotiations meaningless.

Pezeshkian said Iran would not abandon the Lebanese people.

His comments come after Israel carried out its heaviest strikes on Lebanon since the conflict with Hezbollah broke out last month, killing more than 250 people on Wednesday.

9 aprile (Reuters) - Il presidente iraniano Masoud Pezeshkian ha detto giovedì che gli attacchi israeliani al Libano violano l’accordo di cessate il fuoco e rendono vani i negoziati.

Pezeshkian ha detto che l’Iran non abbandonerà il popolo libanese.

I suoi commenti arrivano dopo che Israele ha effettuato i suoi più pesanti attacchi sul Libano da quando il conflitto con Hezbollah è scoppiato il mese scorso, uccidendo più di 250 persone mercoledì.
