WASHINGTON, Jan 13 (Reuters) - White House envoy Steve Witkoff over the weekend met with Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran’s last shah and a prominent voice in the fragmented opposition, to discuss the protests roiling that country, Axios reported on Tuesday, citing an unidentified senior U.S. official.

WASHINGTON, 13 gennaio (Reuters) - L’inviato della Casa Bianca Steve Witkoff ha incontrato nel fine settimana Reza Pahlavi, il figlio in esilio dell’ultimo shah iraniano e voce di spicco della frammentata opposizione, per discutere delle proteste che stanno sconvolgendo il Paese, ha riferito martedì Axios, citando un alto funzionario statunitense non identificato.
