NEW DELHI, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Indian Prime Minister Modi said he had spoken with Bangladesh’s Tarique Rahman, hours after Rahman’s party won a two-thirds majority in a general election on Friday.

Rahman is widely expected to become prime minister as his party returns to power after 20 years.

NEW DELHI, 13 febbraio (Reuters) - Il Primo Ministro indiano Modi ha detto di aver parlato con Tarique Rahman del Bangladesh, poche ore dopo che il partito di Rahman ha ottenuto una maggioranza di due terzi nelle elezioni generali di venerdì.

Si prevede che Rahman diventerà primo ministro quando il suo partito tornerà al potere dopo 20 anni.
