GENEVA, March 4 (Reuters) - A committee of UN experts said on Wednesday it was “deeply disturbed” by the deaths of children amid escalating violence across the Middle East, particularly the bombing of a girls school in Iran.

The Shajareh Tayyebeh girls’ school in Minab in southern Iran was hit on Saturday, the first day of U.S. and Israeli attacks against the country. It killed 160 children, UN experts stated.

GENEVA, 4 marzo (Reuters) - Un comitato di esperti delle Nazioni Unite si è detto mercoledì “profondamente turbato” dalla morte di bambini in un’escalation di violenza in Medio Oriente, in particolare dal bombardamento di una scuola femminile in Iran.

La scuola femminile Shajareh Tayyebeh a Minab, nel sud dell’Iran, è stata colpita sabato, il primo giorno di attacchi statunitensi e israeliani contro il Paese. Gli esperti delle Nazioni Unite hanno dichiarato che l’attacco ha ucciso 160 bambini.
