GALLE, Sri Lanka, March 5 (Reuters) - Sri Lanka is trying to “safeguard lives” on another Iranian ship off its coast, the country’s cabinet spokesperson said on Thursday, adding that the vessel was in the economic zone beyond the South Asian island nation’s territorial waters.

“We are doing our utmost to safeguard lives,” spokesperson Nalinda Jayatissa said.

GALLE, Sri Lanka, 5 marzo (Reuters) - Lo Sri Lanka sta cercando di “salvaguardare le vite” su un’altra nave iraniana al largo delle sue coste, ha detto giovedì il portavoce del gabinetto del Paese, aggiungendo che l’imbarcazione si trovava nella zona economica al di là delle acque territoriali dell’isola dell’Asia meridionale.

“Stiamo facendo del nostro meglio per salvaguardare le vite umane”, ha dichiarato il portavoce Nalinda Jayatissa.
