South Korea president says Japan-China dispute not desirable for regional peace

SEOUL, Jan 12 (Reuters) - South Korean President Lee Jae Myung said that a dispute between China and Japan was not desirable for regional peace, adding that Seoul would not meddle in the ongoing row.

His comments were made during an interview with Japanese broadcaster NHK aired on Monday, a day before his planned summit with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
