DUBAI, March 12 (Reuters) - Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said on Thursday the Strait of Hormuz should remain closed as a tool of pressure.

In a message read out by a state TV broadcaster, the first the new supreme leader has issued since he was appointed to succeed his slain father, Mojtaba said all U.S. bases in the region should be closed as they would be attacked.

DUBAI, 12 marzo (Reuters) - La Guida Suprema iraniana Mojtaba Khamenei ha detto giovedì che lo Stretto di Hormuz dovrebbe rimanere chiuso come strumento di pressione.

In un messaggio letto da un’emittente televisiva statale, il primo che la nuova guida suprema ha rilasciato da quando è stato nominato a succedere al padre ucciso, Mojtaba ha detto che tutte le basi statunitensi nella regione dovrebbero essere chiuse perché verrebbero attaccate.
