PARIS, March 15 (Reuters) - Leftist incumbent mayor Benoit Payan is virtually tied with National Rally lawmaker Franck Allisio in the first round of the mayoral election in Marseille, France’s second-largest city, two exit polls showed on Sunday.

The far-right National Rally has targeted Marseille as a test of its strength ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

PARIS, 15 marzo (Reuters) - Il sindaco in carica di sinistra Benoit Payan è praticamente in parità con il deputato del National Rally Franck Allisio nel primo turno delle elezioni del sindaco di Marsiglia, la seconda città più grande della Francia, come hanno mostrato due exit poll domenica.

Il National Rally di estrema destra ha preso di mira Marsiglia come test della sua forza in vista delle elezioni presidenziali del 2027.
